The Kensington is licensed for “assisted living,” which means residents are able to age in place’ getting all the care they need with bathing, dressing or even more extensive nursing care right here. Our unique license enables us to offer care beyond what other traditional assisted living communities can deliver. Residents do not need to move out of The Kensington if assisted living care needs change or increase because we offer a full spectrum of clinical support. Features of the enhanced assisted living lifestyle include: licensed nurses on-site around the clock, primary care managers medication/diabetes management that includes injections, physician office and rehab center on-site, accommodating residents with late-stage Alzheimer’s disease, welcoming very frail residents, and more.
