We invite you to join us for the second of our two-part series, “The Kensington Caregiver Awakening Project: Shifting from Surviving to Thriving as a Caregiver”. Led by Dr. James Rouse, Naturopathic Physician, Part II features our partners Christina Neill Bowen,MSW, LISCW, and Lisa Bricker, Eldercare Consultant.

Learn simple techniques to prioritize yourself and help you navigate your caregiving journey. Implement daily practices that bring together your mind, body and soul to support your happiness. Establish a routine that not only benefits your mental health and well-being, but also allows you to balance your responsibilities as a caregiver and sustain a life you love.

Christina Neill Bowen, MSW, LISCW, Group Facilitator & Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience helping older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities access services and supports, providing technical assistance and training to states, and supporting organizations to grow by developing shared vision and goals.

Lisa Bricker is an Elder Care ConsultantPlacement Specialist, and Founder of Gently Guided, LLCShe helps families transition forward with compassion. She has served hundreds of families of diverse needs as a Senior Care Consultant and Alzheimer’s and Dementia Placement Specialist. Families feel peace of mind as she takes the burden of “feeling alone” off of their shoulders.

Dr. James Rouse is a Naturopathic Doctor, Author & Motivational Speaker, and Primary Care Clinician specializing in epigenetics, functional and regenerative medicine. James is the author of 13 books on human potential, proactive aging and mind-body well-being and founding faculty member for the Institute for Functional Medicine.
