Only the best for you – because the best is all The Kensington knows how to do! You’re invited to The Kensington Redondo Beach for an Open House and exclusive Book Signing with renowned Author, Ruth Stevens, as she discusses her latest work, Stage Seven.

Hear directly from Ruth Stevens about this heartwarming, realistic caregiving story and the ins and outs of navigating family dynamics during their journey through Alzheimer’s.

Mix and mingle with our Leadership Team of experts, enjoy delicious delights from Executive Chef Erwin and learn about the love and passion that we have for our residents and their families. Our best-in-class professionals are honored to deliver comprehensive care and support for residents at every stage of their journey.

The Kensington caters to the needs and wants of individuals and couples by providing a lifestyle continuum: Assisted Living for those who need daily personal support or 24-hour care, and two levels of Memory Care for those who require help managing any stage of memory loss. All options include an uncompromising regard for quality and service, for which The Kensington is known.

Ruth Stevens, Author, believes in stories that make you laugh and cry. She says, “I like to write about the topics that worry me the most. Since I worry about a great many things, there is never a shortage of material.” A resident of Torrance, California, Ruth is a former public relations professional (in New York and Los Angeles) and proud member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Women’s Fiction Writers Association, and AlzAuthors. Ruth has been writing professionally for her entire career—including hundreds of articles for magazines, newspapers, and journals—but creative writing is her passion. She took up this endeavor full-time after quitting her day job in 2017. At last count, she’s written two plays and three novels. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, hiking, winetasting, hip hop, Broadway musicals, movies, leading a book club, and visiting her grandsons in Manhattan. Stage Seven is her first novel.
