Parkinson’s can certainly pose challenges in everyday life; we are here to discuss how someone can live life successfully with Parkinson’s Disease. With therapies and medications, it is possible to have a good quality of life. We will cover how working with your doctor can provide successful therapies in treating the symptoms. Jennifer Hill Ryan, MS, PT graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She has a diverse clinical background including acute inpatient care, outpatient, private practice, skilled nursing facility and home heatlh. Jennifer’s clinical experience includes a wide variety of medical diagnosis including neuromuscular (emphasis on gerontology), cardiac rehabilitation, general medical diagnosis and orthopedics. In 1995, she was awarded a National Orthopedic Clinical Specialty after logging more than 6,000 hours and passing a rigorous 8 hour exam.
In the late 1990s, she joined The Foto Group as a Medical Reviewer. Jennifer’s review experience includes Medicare, Medi-Cal, private insurance and independent healthcare institutions. In 2010 her expertise was provided as a consultant with Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility Part A and Part B projects through the Department of Justice at both the state level and federal level.
